Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fly Away Home RPC (the “App”, “we”, “us”), operated by LA Racing Homers, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our mobile application for racing-pigeon loft management. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: your email address, a password (stored only as a securely hashed value), and an optional loft/display name.
• Loft & bird data you enter: pigeon band numbers, names, sex, color, strain/family, status, hatch dates, notes, pedigree/family-tree links, health logs (vaccines, treatments, check-ups, illnesses, notes), race results, and feed/nutrition mixes.
• Photos & documents: images of your birds and images or PDFs of paper pedigrees that you choose to upload (for example, for the AI Pedigree Scan feature).
• Messages: questions and prompts you send to the in-app AI assistant.

Information collected automatically

• Device language/locale to set the App's display language.
• Subscription status (trial, active, or expired) and purchase confirmations needed to unlock premium features.
• Basic technical/log data (such as request timestamps and error logs) needed to operate and secure the service.

We do not use third-party advertising networks, and we do not sell your personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process subscriptions and unlock premium features.
• To provide the service in your selected language and to fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

The App may link to third-party websites (for example, partner or sponsor links). Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

4. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records (birds, logs, results, mixes) at any time within the App. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your account and associated loft data from our active systems.

5. Your Rights & Choices

• Access & update: view and edit your data directly in the App.
• Deletion: delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, which removes your data. You may also email us to request deletion.

6. Data Security

Passwords are stored as salted hashes, access is protected with authentication tokens, and data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country. By using the App, you consent to this transfer and processing.
